Los Angeles-bred rap sensation 310babii isn’t just a high school graduate, but he is also officially a platinum-selling recording artist. Luckily for him, he was able to celebrate the two feats at once as he received his first platinum plaque while getting his diploma.

At the 2024 Grant High School graduation, principal Rebecca McMurrin presented 310babii with the plaque for his hit single, “Soak City (Do It).”

“It is my distinct honor to recognize an extraordinary individual who achieved a remarkable feat while still in high school,” McMurrin stated in a video. “We celebrate not only talent, but also dedication, perseverance, and the power of dreams. It is with great pride that we present this plaque for a platinum single to Kameron Milner a.k.a. 310babii.”

Some of his classmates then ran to the stage and rapped his lyrics bar-for-bar in excitement.

McMurrin continued her remarks, adding, “Kameron, in an industry where success often comes with years of experience, [you] have defied the odds by capturing hearts and ears with [your] music at some a young age. His song has not only resonated with audiences, but has left an indelible mark on the music industry. It’s a testament to his talent, creativity, and the undeniable passion he brings to every note and lyric. Kameron serves as an inspiration to all those with dreams. He has shown us that age is no barrier to greatness and with great determination and vision, anything is possible.”

The touching sentiment concluded with her noting that 310babii’s record is not only platinum, but also spent two weeks as No. 1 on Billboard’s Rhythmic and Rap Airplay charts. When he achieved that back in April, he wrote on Instagram, “I’m going to just leave this here. Thank you to everyone who supports me and believes in me. We’re just getting started. I may not be in the headlines for drama and mess, but I know I am making my city proud. My journey may not be anything like yours, but trust and know that you can do it too.”

In his own recap video as a montage of career highlights played, the Hip-Hop phenom expressed, “I mean, we did it; no excuses.” While completing high school, he went on tour and performed at Rolling Loud, Coachella, the NBA Finals, and Summer Jam.

Not to mention, “Soak City (Do It)” has amassed over 128 million on Spotify alone.

His next hit, “Rock Your Hips,” is currently gaining viral traction across social media with nods from Victoria Monét, Kai Cenat, and more. Fans can continue this celebration at his graduation concert on June 29 in Los Angeles.
