Eamonn Walker is a British film, television, and theatre actor who has an estimated net of $2 million. He was born on June 12, 1962 to a Grenadian father and a Trinidadian mother. He was brought up in Islington, London and lived in Trinidad for six months when he was nine. He attended Hungerford School in Islington and studied social work at the University of North London. He trained as a dancer and later joined the Explosive Dance Theatre Company in London but has to give up dancing due to an abscess on his calf muscle. He also studied at the New York Film Academy in the United States.

Walker shifted to acting and made his professional acting debut in 1983 in the musical Labelled with Love. He then moved to television and his first appearance was in 1985 in an episode on the second series of Dempsey & Makepeace. Other television work included Dramarama and In Sickness and in Health on BBC One. He also appeared in an episode of Bulman in 1987 and an episode of the ninth series of Tales of the Unexpected in 1988.

Eamonn Walker began to work in Hollywood in the 1990s. In 1997, he appeared in the miniseries Supply & Demand. He was greatly noticed for his performance as Kareem Said on the television show Oz for which he won a CableACE Award. Since then, he has appeared in several films and television projects. He also played John Othello in the 2001 ITV1 production of Othello. The most recent is on the British Inspector George Gently and as Battalion Chief Wallace Boden, Battalion 25, in the new NBC drama Chicago Fire.
