If you haven’t heard by now, Disney + is launching a new version of Cheaper by the Dozen, available March 18 and a bit different from previous versions.
The original 1950 film featured Clifton Webb and Jeanne Crain as parents to 12 children. Back in 1950, the vast majority of the cast, including all 12 child actors were uncredited in the film. The 2003 film starred comedian Steve Martin and Bonnie Hunt. The 12 children included well-known actors and actresses, Piper Perabo, Tom Welling, Hilary Duff among others.
What makes the 2022 version different?
According to The Things, Union and Zach Braff star as the couple, showing audiences what families in 2022 look like today. Mom and Dad both bring five children from previous relationships and only 10 children make up the ‘dozen’ in the film.
